I'd like to request that, when we're in a position to have more servers running on jeanette, we have a duel server running xonotic and balanceFruit.cfg, so we can test and provide feedback on this balance. Would such a thing be possible/likely?

this balance interests me also, so yes i'll make one... heads up the electro might be a little poweful from the sounds of things

theres already one on xa2 (or there was, until me and haz tested it and it was REALLY BAD). I don't know how many updates to it have been made in the last 2/3 weeks though.

When I tried the balance locally (with xonotic git) it was substantially different to when we tried it on XA2... I'm not sure how much of this is due to the fact that the balance is not compatible with 2.5.2, and how much just because they've changed things, but regardless, it is sufficiently different that I thought it would be worth trying again (this time with a more appropriate server).

Once I manage to get a progs + cfg + darkplaces combo that is Not Crap [tm], i'll start putting the servers up
